I hardly ever write reviews, but wow this is definitely the best Indian food I've had in Portland! You could tell the food is very authentic. The samosas were amazing. The portion sizes are really good, and the staff is super friendly!

The service was great. Our food came faster than I expected. The butter chicken was tomato-y and flavorful, the garlic naan was awesome, and the veggie samosas were crisp and so delicious with the mint sauce.

Awesome to have this place nearby. We got vegetable samosas, chicken biryani, lamb madras curry, and lamb tikka masala, plus a round of mango lassi and naan. Meat was tender, dishes were super flavorful, they nailed our desired spice levels, and their chili cheese naan is absolutely divine. Limited seating inside, and a bit loud with the kitchen, definitely a perfect place for takeout.

We had a fantastic lunch here today the curries were rich and delicious, the raita bursting with flavor and everything was incredibly fresh. Portions were large - we went home with enough for two more meals! We’ll be back for sure, highly recommend. Also, the name means “an invitation to a feast of love” — it delivered.

I'm basic and got the butter chicken / garlic naan combo but this was easily beyond basic in flavor and service! Great people, food, and an awesome outdoor setting with overhead heaters when appropriate. I just think that's a neat dinner!

My friend and I met up for Sunday lunch at this place and I was floored by the food quality, the service, and price. We shared a few dishes — as well as an appetizer and a couple different breads, and the flavors were absolutely exquisite! We have both lived in the Portland area for over 10 years—my buddy has about 5 more years here than I do—and we both agreed this was one of the most standout meals we’ve had in years. Highly recommend, and order enough to take home...the leftovers were amazing too!

On my last day in Portland, I decided to try an authentic Indian breakfast—a fantastic experience. The flavors were rich and comforting, just what you’d hope for. The only suggestion I’d offer is a minor upgrade to the ambiance or seating area to match the quality of the food better. Overall, it was a memorable meal to end the trip!
